For very accurate results,‎ we recommend that you wait 5 minutes after you have started the camera before measuring a temperature.

For cameras where the detector is cooled by a mechanical cooler,‎ this time period excludes the time it takes to cool down the detector.

As with most electronic products,‎ this equipment must be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way,‎ and in accordance with existing regulations for electronic waste.
