Service – General Maintenance & Calibration
GENERAL MAINTENANCE offers the complete high tech 14 point inspection and calibration service, but does not cover parts and
labor. Annual maintenance and calibration will help to ensure the high performance and field worthiness of your IR camera.
Without annual maintenance and calibration your camera can deliver false readings which can compromise decision making, hurt
worker safety, and increase your liability. Bottom line, when you compare the cost of your IR camera to the cost of annual maintenance
and calibration, it is well worth the money.
14–point inspection program:
- Clean and examine camera and optics.
- Clean viewfinder and LCD display.
- Check and/or lubricate all mechanical components.
- Verify all internal cable and PCB connections.
- Upgrade internal camera software to latest revisions as needed.
- Perform complete operational checks.
- Verify and/or re-equalize as needed each temperature range for image uniformity.
- Verify ambient temperature compensation as needed.
- Calibrate temperature ranges up to 1500°C when applicable.
- Re-calibration to insure camera meets factory specifications for the standard camera lens. (Additional lenses not included).
- Verify standard lens calibrations (others not included).
- Provide calibration label with next due date on camera.
- Provide calibration statement.
- Perform final quality acceptance test procedure.
FLIR Systems warrants its products to be free from defects caused by faulty material or poor workmanship, for a period specified above.
NO PRODUCT IS WARRANTED TO BE MERCHANTABLE OR FIT FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE OR APPLICATION. The warranty is void if the buyer
damages the item due to misuse, abuse, modification, processing, or integration with other items. FLIR Systems' maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the obligation to replace or, at its sole option, to credit Buyer’s
account up to the purchase price.
